Hi, I'm Mason, founder of Buxton Spinal Health.
My passion has always been simple: helping people live fulfilled, happy lives - full of movement, memories and freedom, without pain holding them back.
That passion became deeply personal through my dad's experience with sciatica. Growing up, he was Superman to me - strong, hardworking and always moving. Then I saw him become bed bound with pain. I watched a grown man in tears, unable to work, waiting for spinal surgery and worrying about how he would support himself and his family. As a self-employed floor fitter, his work was his livelihood, and he feared he may never return to it.
Through the same hands-on care I now provide to clients everyday, he avoided spinal surgery, returned to full-time work and continues doing the job he loves. Seeing that transformation first-hand changed everything for me. It reinforced why this work matters so much- not just physically, but emotionally, financially for family life as a whole.
Professionally, I've been fortunate to gain experience across a wide range of clinical environments. I've worked within a professional football club's physiotherapy department, supporting first team players on the training pitch, in the treatment room and in the gym. I spent four years providing soft tissue therapy within one of the regions leading chiropractic practices. I then went on to work as a clinician in another of the country's leading chiropractic clinics, caring for around 100 clients each week for more than five years - equating to over 25,000 patient visits.
Those experiences have shaped my approach, combining expert clinical knowledge with practical hands-on care that is deeply personal to every individual.
My goal with Buxton Spinal health is to create something special: a place where people feel listened to, cared for and supported- where expert treatment meets a calm, welcoming environment, and where your goals always come first.
